Coenzyme Q10 is a natural substance present in every living cell. It is found in high concentrations in all major organs such as the liver, spleen, kidneys, pancreas and heart. The body receives coenzyme Q10 partly from the diet and partly from body’s own production. However, the production decreases with age (between the ages of 30 and 40). It is therefore advisable to take extra coenzyme Q10 from the age of 30 and above and in times of increased physical or mental effort. The recommended amount for healthy people is 30 mg daily.
We offer both 30 mg Coenzyme Q10 capsules with soybean oil and 50 mg Coenzyme Q10 capsules with added vitamins E and C.

Coenzyme Q10 is obtained from dietary sources such as meat, kidneys, oily marine fish, butter, egg yolks and vegetable oils. Because it is not stable at higher temperatures, it is lost when foods are cooked. Therefore, supplementation in the form of food supplements is recommended.
Some people need higher amounts of coenzyme Q10 than others to achieve sufficient blood levels of coenzyme Q10. We have added Vitamins E and C, which play an important role in protecting cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin C also helps to reduce fatigue and tiredness.
