Willow bark, which is most commonly sourced from the white willow tree, has been used medicinally for centuries. Today it is used to treat pain, headaches and inflammatory conditions. Willow bark reduces inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, hip and knee arthritis.
Traditionally, boswellia has been used in India to warm the joints or to counteract joint stiffness. Due to its soothing anti-inflammatory effect, boswellia is also used to relieve inflammation-related problems – not only of the joints, but also of the lungs, intestines, skin, etc.
Nettle contains minerals (Fe, Mg, Na, K, P, Ca, etc.), plenty of vitamin A and mineral salts, a lot of potassium, which makes it diuretic. As a natural diuretic with a strong cleansing effect on the organism, it has a positive effect on inflammatory processes such as gout and rheumatism.
The capsules contain just the right blend of ingredients that have a beneficial effect on the joints.
One capsule daily.
Willow bark is recommended as a complementary treatment for rheumatism, fever, colds and headaches. It is also a common ingredient in medicinal teas to increase perspiration and against rheumatic diseases. Willow bark contains a significant amount of essential oils, which makes the tea very astringent and not very drinkable if it is made from a large quantity of bark.
Our willow bark extract capsules, on the other hand, contain high levels of salicin, with the addition of boswellia and stinging nettle for a greater effect. The combination of willow bark, boswellia and nettle in capsules is thus more effective than medicinal teas or home-made preparations.
